MBRflix was born out of changes in global regulations, data sharing capabilities and the need for new business models – this created a WIN WIN WIN ecosystem platform. The initial business case came from the hotel industry where the existing digital sales and go to market channels are limited to a small number of large conglomerates (few owners and many brands).
MBRflix took the idea and business model to a few potential partner- and loyalty programs and CircleK EMEA became the enabling partner. The first hotel chain onboarded was Best Western in the Nordics.
MBRflix was founded by travel and tech people – all with solid experience from their industry and with a deep understanding of the verticals and challenges at hand.
MBRflix have solid investors from the Nordics and USA, covering tech, marketing and sales, travel and hospitality and long experience in start-up and scale-up investments.
MBRflix was founded in the Nordics (openness in society, a sharing culture and lots of travel) and expanded immediately into European - and we are now at the first steps into the US markets. Our partners and ecosystems are global, so are we.
